In my Sepia series, my intent is always to focus on the character of the animal which is conveyed through the eyes & body language. Through thoughtful composition, omission of backgrounds & a limited colour palette, the focal points are narrowed down. Working in acrylic paint allows me to create a high level of detail which further draws attention to these areas.
